Caramel Pecan Dessert (John's favorite)

Ingredients ~
  1. 1 c. flour
  2. 1 c. brown sugar
  3. 1/2 c. margarine
  4. 1 c. chopped pecans
  5. Mrs. Richardson's Caramel/Butterscotch sauce
  6. Ice cream (optional)
The Recipe ~

-Cream the first three ingredients together, then add the chopped pecans.
-Spread on an ungreased cookie sheet.
-Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until it is lightly brown.
-Let it cool, then crumble it.
-Sprinkle the crumbled pieces on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
-Drizzle with 1/2 jar of Mrs. Richardson's caramel/butterscotch sauce.
-Cover and freeze.  (If you are using foil or plastic, make sure it doesn't touch the top of the dessert.  The caramel will stick to it if it does touch.)
-After it's frozen, enjoy!  This dessert tastes really good with some ice cream!
